The mad genius that Mr. Cobb was, he was able create one of the most enduring salads of our time by tossing together a hodge-podge of ingredients from his refrigerator: the Cobb Salad.
Unlikewise, tonight's dinner that I "tossed" together will go down in history as a most forgettable one. Wabi sabi it was not, for there were no flaws to be celebrated; only excreted.
