naan नान, نان

baked naan bread for the first time. they came out quite nice(ly).

this is the only one that puffed up. it's probably because i consciously folded it over itself before rolling it flat.

The recipe:
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp yeast
2 tbs oil
2.5 tbs yogurt
3/4 cup water

mix all ingredients, then let sit covered for 4 hours.
knead, split dough into 6 balls rolled flat.
oil hands, and toss flat dough between hands until dough is slightly oiled.
bake for 3.5 minutes at 500˚F on a pizza stone.
brush naan with ghee (clarified butter). i just used regular melted butter.
